“You are the sun,” he murmurs, pale hands contrasting deeply with the olive tone Thor’s skin takes on. Thor laughs, a quiet sound in the base of his throat, and covers Loki’s hands.

“The sun is far brighter, far more brilliant than I,” he replies, catching Loki’s gaze. The look of adoration on Loki’s face is one Thor will cherish for millions upon millions of years to come.

“You are my sun,” Loki corrects, breathing out gently and presses his lips against Thor’s. Thor wraps both arms around Loki, cradling him close to his chest. Thor thinks how foolish he was, childish to fear someone so beautiful. He moves his lips around Loki’s face, tracing kisses gently along the ridges in his skin and rests one large hand on the small of his back. Loki tips his head back slightly, sighing out a soft moan into the dark.

“You are my moon,” Thor murmurs, scraping his teeth against the rapidly building pulse beneath winter skin. “You will be my sun in the dark.”
